All new cars come with a manufacturer’s warranty (typically “bumper to bumper” for the first 3 years OR 36,000 miles and “power train” for the first 5 yrs OR 60,000 miles from initial purchase).
And, as we discussed, CPO vehicles typically extend the manufacturer’s coverage. And with CPO vehicles, the manufacturer often allows the dealer to sell you a “wrap” or extension of the CPO warranty.
Beyond the manufacturer’s warranty, consumers are flooded with third-party extended warranty offers, both at the time the vehicle is purchased and subsequently down the road.
You should check with your Auto Advisor or Credit Union about vehicle service agreement offerings and how they may fit your particular needs and budget.
Availability and terms of plans do vary, so please check with your credit union member services representative.
